Vaginal Yeast Test
Dr. Original’s test for vaginal yeast enables the detection of a vaginal infection. Vaginal Yeast is not a real STD, like chlamydia or gonorrhea. Diabetes Test
Diabetes is a very common disease; in the Netherlands alone almost 1 million people have diabetes, and it is increasing steadily. The largest problem of diabetes is that only 50% of the diabetics are aware of it. Often it remains unnoticed because it comes into existence by degrees. Unpleasant causes of diabetes are, amongst others, low energy, kidney problems, dementia, diseases to heart and vasculars, problems with your eyes, skin and feet.
Although there is no cure for diabetes now, good treatments are available when it is diagnosed in an early stage. In case the following characteristics relate to you, you find yourself in a high risk group: aged > 45, overweight, insufficient physical exercise, high blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, a relative with diabetes.

Menopause Test
Most women in their fifties experience the menopause to some degree. It could lead to changes of mood, heart fluttering, depression, fear and lack of concentration. When the menopause is diagnosed, various (natural) remedies are available for support.
With the Dr. Original Menopause Test it is easy to measure whether the menopause has started. A little (morning) urine on the midstream test is sufficient. The test detects the FSH (follikel stimulating hormone) which is the best indicator for the menopause.

The Dr. Original Ovulation Test enables to find the woman's best period for family planning. The test is of the highest quality, comparable to the ones that are on the market for decades. It works with a little urine, and is completely pain-free.

Early Pregnancy Test
In addition to our standard pregnancy test, Dr. Original introduced its early pregnancy test for detection of a pregnancy even before the woman's period is due.
Alike most other well-known pregnancy tests, this test measures the hCG hormone in urine. Usually, a woman's hCG hormone rises from the first day of a pregnancy. The normal levels of hCG are in between 0 and 10 IU/mL. Other tests on the market measure a pregnancy at 25 IU/mL. Due to the improved sensitivity of the Dr. Original Early Pregnancy Test it is able to determine a pregnancy at 12mI/mL.
This way of measuring is optimal because detection below 12 IU/mL would imply that the test indicates a pregnancy, where a normal level of hCG could be 10 IU/mL.

Cassette Pregnancy Test
For a normal course of the pregnancy and an undisturbed development of the unborn child, several essential changes take place in the female body. Primarily, hormones are responsible for the adjustments to the pregnancy. The most important pregnancy hormones are estrogen, progesterone and hCG (humane choriongonadotropin). For healthy and non-pregnant women the hCG levels are between 0 and 10 mIU/ml (International Milliunits per Milliliter); the normal range. At a pregnancy already after the first days of the fertilization the hCG levels start to increase. Among the tenth week levels of 230.000 mIU/ml can be reached. After the birth the levels fall back quickly, within several weeks to its normal range. Therefore, the hCG hormone is perfect for diagnosing a pregnancy. The limit for a pregnancy is > 10 mIU/ml.
Testing with a cassette test is very reliable. It determines the level of hCG in urine. According to this level the pregnancy can be diagnosed. In addition, this testing method is very simple. Take in the urine in a dry, clean cup. Only remove the cassette out of the foil pouch once you are ready to start testing. Lay it on a plane surface. Take out the urine and put in on the cassette. The use of early morning urine is recommended; the hCG levels are the highest. In case you prefer to test on another time of the day, this is also possible.
You can read the result of the Dr. Original Cassette Pregnancy Test within 3 minutes (positive result after 1 minute). Do not read the result after 5 minutes. Two line imply a positive result; 1 line a negative result.
